WSQ FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT (IMPLEMENT HACCP FOR FOOD MANUFACTURING) (SFW)

This course provides occupational knowledge and skills to raise the standard in food manufacturing industry by equipping the supervisory staff with skills in applying Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles and implement HACCP system in the food processing establishments.
On completion of this unit, the learner will have knowledge and application skills in applying HACCP Principle and be able to apply them in the workplace. This includes:

WSQ Food Services
The food services sector, comprising some 7,000 establishments and
employs about 170,000 workers, contributes to 0.8% of Singapore’s
gross domestic product.
Growing affluence has led to demand for a greater variety of dine-out experiences, while a busier lifestyle calls for more quick-service and order-in options. The food scene in Singapore is also gaining recognition among global consumers, providing a boost to our tourism industry, giving rise to new opportunities for food services
companies venturing overseas. To meet the evolving needs of local consumers and capture a greater share of the global food and beverage market, the food services sector, with the support of government agencies, are working to enhance productivity and transform business models.
SSG Funding and SkillsFuture Credit
The WSQ Security courses are eligible for SSG funding and is SkillsFuture Credit $500 claimable.
To help companies and individuals offset the cost of training, SSG will provide funding for the course fee (eligible Singaporeans or PRs only) and absentee payroll.
- INDIVIDUALS – Up to 95% course fee and absentee payroll
- SME – Up to 90% course fee and up to S$25 per training hour
- NON-SME- Up to 80% course fee and up to S$17 per training hour
- Workfare Skills Support (WSS) is eligible for Singaporeans aged 35yo and above with gross monthly income not exceeding $2300
- Participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment by SSG upon passing an oral/written examination and practical assessment
- Upon successful completion, participants can apply for Training Commitment Award (TCA) with documentation and the training is relevant to their work.
